Yoga Therapy Program
As we get older, keeping agile and creating balance is critical to good health and wellbeing. We can learn to master balance by focusing on building strength, achieving alignment and becoming mindful of ourselves.
This is where our Yoga Therapy program comes in.
Yoga Therapy is based on 3000 years worth of Yogic knowledge of health. The results of these practices can be profound - improving energy, breathing capacity, joint mobility, injury recovery, mood improvement and gaining a “wiser sense of self”. Yoga has also been clinically proven to support chronic injury recovery, and stabilise negative mind states such as anxiety and depression.
Keri Hogarth, our resident Yoga Therapist, brings her 20+ years of experience in naturopathy, herbal medicine and nutritional medicine to her yoga therapy practice - giving her a heightened ability to identity your physical and emotional concerns. Keri holds focus on creating medication-free alternatives to growing older while growing healthier.
Our Yoga Therapy sessions are 1:1 personalised programs that are designed for those who no longer feel flexible and limber and want to take back control over their physical and emotional health. Our clients are given an enhanced understanding of their body’s weaknesses and how to self-manage them.
Each program consists of three weekly guided sessions with Keri, where she will design short and easy to complete practices at home. The therapeutic practices include Yoga movement, breathing, relaxation, meditation. Over the course of the program, you will experience the unfolding of habitual patterns, body holds and injury patterns.
